PROJECT BACKGROUND

Nothing says community like a place for everyone to just hang out, literally. The Front Climbing Club was a renovation of an existing space, modernized, and turned into a state of the art climbing facility and fitness center.  Climbing gyms require an intimate knowledge of dynamic loading on both the climbing walls themselves, and the super structure that supports them. Since climbing walls are free-flowing forms and ever changing, we helped the owner design a system to keep their walls solid, yet adaptable to the changing routes.
