PROJECT BACKGROUND

The Rocky Shore’s project was transformative in nature for Utah’s Hogle Zoo and consists of a large collection of exhibits.  The iconic Polar Bear Exhibit which includes an underwater viewing building. Seal/Sea Lion Exhibit, also with underwater viewing. Grizzly Bears, River Otters, and Bald Eagles each with unique visitor experiences.  With such a large collection of animals, each required the behind the scenes structures, such as filtration buildings, holding buildings, storage facilities, etc.  The new complex includes a large patio gathering area, restaurants, viewing buildings, and a long span pedestrian bridge, all themed to enhance both the user and animal experiences.
